Chez Jean-Pierre offers you all you love about French food, ambiance and service in a cozy and casual style bistro. The decor creates a feeling of warmth and familiarity with style and elegance. The food is superb in presentation and taste; the chef describes his cuisine as a fusion of the styles of his home country France with that of California.

The New York Times describes the appetizers as "Imperial" the desserts "are in a class by themselves, each seeming to surpass the last" and among the entrees that "stood out" are the "Moules Marinieres and the Bay Scallops". The wine list is varied and compliments the menu perfectly and many wines are available by the glass. Chez Jean-Pierre is the ideal restaurant for any occasion and the meal experience encompasses outstanding food, quality service and great wines in an entirely French atmosphere.

Jean-Pierre Bars
Jean-Pierre the restaurant's namesake completed his formal training in Nantes, France earning his degree in Restaurant Management and graduating at the top of his class. His knowledge in tandem with his passion for the business makes him the perfect host every time.

Previously Jean-Pierre has worked in many of the Relais et Chateau establishments in France and Switzerland. Since his arrival to the United States he was employed at La Panetiere in Rye New York, Park Bistro in Manhattan and most recently at the Atlantis Restaurant located in the Greenwich Harbor Inn in Greenwich Connecticut. Jean-Pierre is a connoisseur of wine and aims to establish Chez Jean-Pierre as a restaurant reputable for its wines in addition to its cuisine.
